The Women Initiatives for Skills and Entrepreneurship (FemiWISE) project is dedicated to transforming the lives of women by providing the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive in today’s economy.

Our primary focus is on women who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEETs) and those who are economically disadvantaged. These women face unique barriers, and FemiWISE exists to break them down.

Key Goals of FemiWISE

1. Skills & Start-Up
We help women strengthen their job skills and gain the expertise needed to launch new companies or start meaningful careers.

2. Expert Connections
Participants gain valuable access to specialized organizations, businesses, and mentors in crafts, trades, and entrepreneurship.

3. Holistic Upskilling
Our training programs go beyond technical know-how, offering a well-rounded approach that includes:

• Soft Skills: Building communication, teamwork, and confidence.

• Digital Skills: Navigating the modern, tech-driven business world.

• Entrepreneurial Skills: Applying marketing and business principles to ensure success.

4. Resources for Creative Industries
We are developing an Open Educational Resource (OER) focused on the creative industry, offering specialized training for women in design, arts, and innovation.

FemiWISE promotes inclusion, employability, and financial independence by offering comprehensive training, guidance, and emotional support. Through FemiWISE, women move from financial vulnerability to stability, independence, and leadership.
