The FemiLoan initiative is the financial arm of the FemiWISE project — a dedicated effort to provide accessible seed capital to women entrepreneurs. Think of it as a supportive financial hub designed exclusively for women in our programs.

What is FemiLoan?

Goal:
To help women entrepreneurs launch or expand their own businesses through secure and transparent financing.

Target Group:
Women who have completed or are actively participating in the FemiWISE program.

Key Feature:
Low-interest loans managed digitally for maximum transparency, simplicity, and accountability.

How It Works (The Revolving Fund Model)

1. A woman entrepreneur receives a loan to start or scale her business.

2. She uses the capital to establish her business and begins generating income.

3. She repays the loan with a small, manageable interest rate.

4. The repaid funds are reinvested into the FemiLoan pool, enabling the next woman to receive financial support.

This creates a sustainable cycle of empowerment, ensuring continuous access to funding and long-term economic impact.
